Rita Sodi and Jody Williams — self-taught, James Beard Award-winning chefs — have transformed New York’s West Village into a widely beloved culinary destination. Renowned for their honest food and beautiful, inviting spaces, Sodi and Williams are behind the Italian classics Via Carota, I Sodi, and Bar Pisellino; the charming French gastrothèque Buvette; The Commerce Inn, an American tavern celebrating old New York; Officina del Bere, dealer in fine wines and spirits; and Officina 1397, curated food and supply shop. Together the chefs published Via Carota: A Celebration of Seasonal Cooking, a critically lauded bestselling cookbook, and launched Via Carota Craft Cocktails, premium ready-to-pour cocktails inspired by the beloved osteria. 

Their spaces are all steps from each other in the historic West Village.
